Dawson joins journal as Associate Editor

Myrna Dawson was recently appointed as one of several Associate Editors for the Canadian Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice (CJCCJ), a peer-reviewed scientific journal that has been published quarterly since 1958. Serving as a forum for interdisciplinary discussion of all aspects of criminology, the current Journal Editor is Simon Verdun-Jones, Simon Fraser University, who took over the helm July 1, 2014 after 10 years of service by Peter Carrington, University of Waterloo. In addition to Dawson and Carrington, who has stayed on at the journal as an Associate Editor, also serving in this role are Martin Bouchard, Simon Fraser University; Anthony Doob, University of Toronto; Rick Linden, University of Manitoba; Ronald-Fran Melchers, University of Ottawa; and Pierre Tremblay, Université de Montréal. CJCCJ is a bilingual journal supported by the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC).
