CSSLRV research assistant and PhD candidate (Department of Psychology, University of Guelph), Nicole Jeffrey received an Honourable Mention for the 2017 SSHRC Storytellers Contest. The video, titled “Sexual violence in dating relationships: Beyond ‘Real Rape’ Myths”, features research findings from Jeffrey’s SSHRC-funded Master’s thesis research on women’s experiences of being verbally pressured and physically forced into sexual activity by a male dating partner.
