Dawson served on data subgroup for recently released national MMIWG action plan

A National Action Plan for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG) was released by the federal government today, featuring short term goals, two years after the MMIWG released its findings and calls for justice. The action plan was developed by a Core Working Group and the National Family and Survivors Circle with the support of several sub-working groups including a data sub-working group on which CSSLRV Director Myrna Dawson sat as a member.
