CSSLRV Researchers published article on Familicide

University of Guelph CSSLRV researchers/associates Ciara Boyd, Danielle Sutton, Angelika Zecha, Julie Poon, Myrna Dawson, Anna-Lee Straatman, and Peter Jaffe published research this week that takes the first detailed look at familicide in Canada. Their findings show that perpetrators of familicide (i.e., the killing of a current or former intimate partner and child/children) often have histories of violence against women and highlight the role of toxic masculinity in instances of gender-based violence.
